Woodland Gardens

Shade from trees leads to the all-familiar complaint, “I can’t get grass to grow and I’m tired of the expense of resodding it!” While to many this may seem an insurmountable ‘problem’, it can be an opportunity to create an aesthetically pleasing landscape setting. Again, design is the key that will address the on-site realities of shade, drainage, soil types, etc.. and direct the use of plants whose natural habitat is that of a woodland setting.
